Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer. This position can be based in Harleysville, PA, Elk Grove Village IL, or greater Atlanta, GA.
You’ll make an impact by:
Performs product support to customers remotely via phone, e-mail, and other forms of communication Completes on-site and in-house troubleshooting for complex products and other related products to customers. Performs in active programs to increase customer satisfaction. Performs in communicating product knowledge to different levels of understanding. Completes available training for new product and upgrades and strives to prepare to use training to understand and communicate knowledge to customers as they relate to product support . Ability to enthusiastically take ownership of job responsibilities in both communication and administrative requirements and to meet individual and team KPI goals.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Position will require the ability to understand questions posed by parties in the electrical industry, interpret operations and maintenance manuals, and effectively bring wiring, troubleshooting and application solutions, including technical product detail to customers over the phone or via email. Some after hour work may be required Candidate should also have strong communication and administration skills, good work ethic, and be a consummate team player. Knowledge in circuit protection, residential wiring and electronics including smart home and power distribution will be a plus. Some work outside of business hours may be required Certification may be required in some areas. Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge in field of specialization through successful completion of basic complex assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of: fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Some travel may be required. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Typically 3+ years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.You’ll benefit from:
