We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our Field Service Engineering team within our DMO organization. You will be responsible for supporting our distributors and customers in the EMEA region.

 

Team you belong to:

You will join a team of high achieving Service Technicians dedicated to providing technical support services between customers, Distributers, product divisions and sales personnel.

 

What you’ll do:

Support highest Metso standards for Health and Safety & Coordinates continuous training in health and safety regulations and procedures. Answer customers routine technical queries and contributes to troubleshoot problems and provide temporary or final solutions.  Provide direct and remote support, were needed. Effectively support in improving Distributor technical support capabilities. Support in training of products to the distribution network in the EMEA. On-site support for effective start-up & commissioning processes and breakdowns. Support Commissioning & Warranty Registrations (CWR) are completed correctly and in timely manner. Review Metrics data for distributor/customer support needs. Produces regular technical reports and activity summaries for site work. Provides support for the warranty process to ensure timely actions, reports and coordination of warranty claims and other issues with product lines. Decrease warranty claim rejections and/or modifications with improvement plans. Willingly engages in the problem, solving opportunities in timely manner. Support customer and distributor technical training, online and face to face. Respond to safety related inquiries according to Metso:Outotec rules and policies. Support other regions with technical Support when required (Load Share).

 

Who you are:

Must have a thorough knowledge of Metso crushing and screening products Must have proficient mechanical, automation skills. Electrical qualification is desired but not mandatory. Ability to travel within short notice
