The position will work closely with the current technical support team including 24/7 support teams to deliver support for all drilling services systems in ENSC.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Providing support for drilling and surface logging operations in ENSCSupporting Cadence, i-Trak, JewelSuite and hardware used for operationsIntroducing new technology and participate in field testing of new servicesProviding general IT and computer hardware support for the iROC center in StavangerKeeping checklists and job guides updated and implement best practicesParticipating in pre-section meetingsCovering shift for 24/7 TS engineers in iROC centerTraveling to test sites and other Baker Hughes facilities for new product testing and training if required

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a Bachelor's or engineering degree with Have proven operations experience as technical support, MWD or SLS/ARTE engineerHave an analytical approach to problem-solving and be motivated and focused on resultsHave sound IT skills and the ability to multitask whilst using technical equipmentHave good communication skills – in English, both verbal and writtenBe a team player who enjoys troubleshooting and helping peopleBe excited to learn new technical skills with regards to digital oilfieldEnjoy a fast-moving environment and the need to react quickly to find solutions to problems
