Technical Support Specialist

Reports to: IT Manager

Travel: 0-10%

Work Environment: On-site, San Diego

Salary Range: $65,000.00-$90,000.00

About the role:
DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join the team. The Technical Support Specialist provides the initial response to support tickets logged in the corporate ticketing system. This individual is responsible for a timely and professional response to the end user, including follow-ups, from ticket inception through ticket resolution.


Essential Functions:

Support end user IT support requests, including hardware and software troubleshooting, in a Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016+ environmentProvide outstanding professional and customer-friendly technical and customer supportEnsure timely resolution of tickets, including recording, tracking, and provide follow-up as neededReview all IT support tickets, track progress, and update relevant information through resolutionAssist with new PC set-upsAssist with conference room set-ups ahead of meetingsAssist with software and hardware updates/upgradesTroubleshoot printers and copiersAssist with cloud VoIP phone administrationManage user accounts and third party applicationsMaintain and update IT documentation including inventory/asset tracking and knowledgebase systemsBe punctual, responsible, and responsiveBe a motivated self-starter requiring little to no supervision

Job Requirements (education, experience, skills):

3+ years’ experience in a Windows environmentCollege degree, IT certification, or equivalent work experience preferredExceptional analytical and time-management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detailBe punctual, responsible, responsive, and professional
