Position Requirements: 

 

If you are enthusiastic about introducing new products, this is an exciting chance to create an impact. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Handle tasks and projects in the Technical Support department to improve efficiency. 

Provide technical communication between Production, R&D, and Global Tech Support. 

Conduct "root cause" analysis and actively participate in resolving technical issues. 

Collect, analyze, and report data to solve problems and improve the company's inner processes. 

Provide worldwide 3rd-line technical support up to the system level of SEM/SDB products, especially systems released after 2002. 

Lead continuous improvement processes and postmortem analysis for solved support calls. 

Capture parts issues and collect Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) requests for all types of microscopes and their modules. 

Explore opportunities to lower installation and warranty costs based on collected data and analyses. 

Lead assigned Global Technical Support tasks, such as Practical Process Improvement, Service Documentation requests, Corrective Action / Preventive Action. 

Seek opportunities to improve product quality. 

Follow effective documents Coordinated Management System, Environmental Management System, and work on documentation. 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Mechanics, or a combination of both. 

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Eligible for electric regulation No. 250 §6 (previously 50 §6). 

Proficient in English and Czech, both written and spoken, at a minimum of level B2. 

Ability to travel internationally for less than 25% of working hours. 

Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team. 

Experience in project management. 

Knowledge and experience in Product Data Management is an advantage.
