Provide technical and end user support to the corporate budgeting and planning, financial reporting, and performance management systems. Assist in management, development, and implementation of technology solutions in support of evolving business processes.
This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.
Essential Functions:
Supports the maintenance and development of reporting solutions using Planning Analytics, Board, Dimensional Insight or other reporting systems in support of critical financial and performance information.Assists in improving and streamlining the current technology models and the development of new models in response to changing business needs.Supports project implementations and upgradesTroubleshoots technical issues and errors; coordinates with technical leads in resolving issuesAssists in the development of processes to manage data, dimensions, and attributes. Performs tests on new processes, reviews applications and prepares appropriate financial and budgeting reports and tools.Assists in data interface design, data migration, and reconciliationSupports the implementation and interpretation of system solutions due to changing user requirementsManages end user securityManages metadata request approval process and initiates additions and modifications in the applicable systemsPerforms system reconciliations and supports SOX and audit requirements.Acts as point of contact and communication for end usersProvides training and support to end users. Assists in management reporting projects as required.Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge/Skill:
Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics, PowerPlan, Board, Dimensional Insight and other financial or performance metric system software preferredBe able to successfully pair a technology background with an understanding of business processes, accounting, and budgeting principles in order to provide an efficient budgeting and reporting system platform.Detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work in a team environment under tight deadlines.Strong communication skillsEducation:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experienceWork toward a master’s degree preferredExperience:
Three (3) plus years of related experienceBackground in business and/or accounting concepts preferredCompensation and Benefits:
