Job DescriptionProvide the DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) operations support, including systems integration, systems administration, network administration, information assurance, facilities support, database administration, maintenance management and execution for the facility, hardware and software. Provide DSRC-specific requirements such as Helpdesk, Data Analysis and Assessment Center (DAAC), Above Secret Computing, service agency customer requirements, ongoing outreach, technology advancement for the DSRCs, such as software applications or systems support and development, data analysis, technology evaluation and program management support, such as financial data and reports and process management, procurement support, and inventory support.
The Technical Team Lead organizes, directs, and manages contract operations support functions, involving multiple, complex, and interrelated task and manages the client interface at the senior level of the client organization. The Technical Team Lead has the responsibility for GDIT team performance across all the supported DSRCs. Candidate must possess strong and effective communication skills, both written and oral. Candidate must be an effective leader with a broad technical background in HPC Data Center management/support, capable of interacting and communicating with all disciplines of technical support staff at a DSRC to ensure center requirements are met.
Specific Responsibilities:
Ensure all technical requirements of the contract across the High-Performance Computing Modernization Program are being met. Primary point-of-contact for the government technical leadership and work in tandem to ensure the successful technical operations of the HITS-U program. Identify and delineate technical work requirements based on mission requirements, Government interactions, and program analysis. Create and technical briefings to Government senior leaders and technical/functional stakeholders. Advise the Government in technical operations, including development of decision-making artifacts, such as Analysis of Alternatives and Business/Mission Impact Analyses. Coordinate with other program leadership, create appropriate teams and organize resources to successfully execute work requests and solve technical problems.Use technical/management tools and analysis techniques to track and optimize end-to-end technical program performance, including strategic planning to anticipate future requirements. Coordinate with program leadership to ensure appropriate skilled resources are applied to various projects to ensure projects are on time and under budget. Orchestrate Cross-Center initiatives and/or capability meetings to ensure enterprise initiatives are executed successfully and center activities are performed consistently and efficiently. Translates the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions and integrating architecture environments with leading edge compute, network, and storage technologies.work along the side of leading HPC staff and researchers working to solve DoD’s most critical mission challenges.Analize transition planning, intelligence information requirements, and may develop architecture baselines. Assist with and leads development of integration, migration plans/schedules6+ years of High-Performance Computing experienceExperience with HPC systems or experience in a Federal Data Center environmentSpecific prior experience leading technical personnelQualifications:
BA/BS in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or Information Systems or other related discipline. May substitute equivalent experience, training and/or certifications for the degree.10+ years of experiencePMP preferred. 8570.01M/ IAT-II or higher, ITIL Foundation v3 or v4, or obtain within 6 months of start dateTS with the ability to get a TS/SCI
