Are you someone who can:

Build performant, scalable & maintainable Backend Services and APIs as the next Senior Java Backend Developer sought by a rapidly growing FinTech companyCollaborate in a team where you will work on multiple products with a modern tech stack, and on projects involving multiple team members in a dynamic environmentVoice an opinion on how to do things better, in both the code base, and in daily workflows and processesDevelop secure Backend services and APIs to support new features and further enhancements

You will be an ideal candidate if you can:

Understand product requirements and translating them to robust technical solutionsContribute to overall solution architectureWork and collaborate with the rest of the Engineering team, including QA, BA, UX Designers, Architects, SA and Product OwnersMaintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest qualityKeep improving the code base as you go along and refactor things for the betterDiagnose and fix bugs and performance issues

We can be a match if you have:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science or similar technical discipline5+ years of Java experience and skills in Spring Boot, SQL, PostgreSQL or Sql Server, Redis, MVC & GitExperience building and maintaining APIs using Spring Boot, connecting to various SQL and NoSQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL and Redis)Experience building server-side generated web applications using templating engines (such as Thymeleaf)The ability to write well-documented, clean codeHands-on experience in team programming projects, preferably using Git or other source control systems
