Ensures course success by assisting in curriculum development and implementation; setting course goals and expectations; and ensuring all tasks are complete and resources, parts, tools, and materials are available to the Education staff. Will help other Instructors succeed by providing coaching, mentoring and recommending training.

Responsibilities Help other Instructors be their best and excel by mentoring and coaching; recommending training and development; monitoring instructor progress and outcomes; and providing technical expertise in specific area of focus.Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner; maintaining an orderly, controlled, and safe environment for our students in classrooms and labs.Ensure training aids, tools, and equipment are maintained and prepared for use in the classroom and lab.Supervise and hold students accountable while promoting learning, participation, motivation, and professionalism;Test, evaluate, and communicate performance and progress with students, supervisors, and other departments in a timely and accurate manner.Assist the Education Manager with oversight of daily operations of specific course.Maintain curriculum accuracy by keeping up-to-date on the industry.Ensures UTI is legitimate in our operations by following the compliance related responsibilities for this position in the supplemental document.Other duties as assigned Qualifications

MMI Phoenix

High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years related work experience if a MMI graduate or 5 years related work experience

Avondale, Exton, Lisle, Long Beach, Norwood, Rancho Cucamonga, Sacramento 

 

High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years related work experience. ASE Certifications as required.

 

 

Campus

 

Education & Experience Requirements

 

 

Dallas Ft. Worth, Houston, NASCAR Tech, Orlando, Bloomfield

High school diploma or equivalent; 7 years related work experience (5 of which need to occur within the last 10 years). ASE Certifications as required.

 

 

 

Requirements

Must meet ACCSC standards for instructors, achieve and maintain required technical certifications and state specific licensing requirements as a condition of employment.

Prior teaching experience requiredLeader or management experience a plus

Abilities

Must be able to instruct two consecutive courses per workday; amount of hours will vary based on campus location and programMust be able to work a rotating shiftMust be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds or less 15% of the workdayMust be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 15% or less of the workdayMust be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn and reason for all of the workdayMust be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.May require occasional overnight travel.

 Work Environment

Work is performed indoors in a climate controlled environment.Work is performed near or with moving mechanical partsShort periods of limited exposure to non-hazardous levels of fumes or airborne particles.
