Assist in developing and maintaining both documentation and educational content for internal Verity associates and external customer audiences. Gain a deep understanding of products and services, in order to translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content. Work collaboratively with internal business partners to assess needs and prioritize tasks. This role will also help evaluate current content and build out educational resources using a content management and source control system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and conduct customer facing education programs- including but not limited to webinars, tradeshow, and prospect/customer training, as well as other projects as assigned. Plan, manage and conduct internal education programs - including but not limited to webinars, documentation, new hire on boarding classes and skill assessments, as well as other projects as assigned.Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write online documentation and online training materials.Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentationWork and communicate across departments, including but not limited to Product Development and Operations to understand use cases and documentation requirements in order to outline, write, and edit content,Assist with the design, development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of both a client and internal certification programUse known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniquesAssist in maintaining curriculum tools and resources Other duties as assignedExperience, Skills and Qualifications:
Experience as an effective technical writer and/or instructional designer creating software documentation and training materials for internal and external customers in a SaaS environment for a minimum of 2 years.340B program or healthcare background a plus but not requiredExperience as an effective trainer, capable of delivering live Virtual Instructor-led training to employees and customers.Experience using basic image editing tools, like Snagit and Video tools like CamtasiaExperience using a source control system like Git Hub or Team Foundation ServerExperience using a content management system like MadCap Flare to create and update documentation and on line help projectsExperience creating training videos for internal and external viewersAbility to coordinate, schedule and manage multiple projects and training events in a corporate settingHTML/CSS experienceStrong communication skills, written and verbal with a keen eye for detailTeam player, able to thrive in a fast paced, changing environmentAbility to adhere to documentation voice of the business/guidelinesAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload while being a self-starterProficient in MS Office: Intermediate/Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, PPTProficient in Adobe AcrobatInternet Connection with cable broadband or fiber optics with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.Working Conditions:
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Occasional corporate travel (up to 15%) to remote offices, business meetings, events and customer facilities may be required.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 69,500 - 115,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
