This is a contract position; however, it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Technical Training Developer
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Technical Training Developer will include: The Technical Training Developer will develop Service Training courses in support of Construction brands for dealer service technicians, national/corporate account technicians, customer technicians, field personnel, and other internal company personnel. They will work in a team environment to design and develop training on assigned products while maintaining a professional training environment. They will also communicate with Training Instructors, Technical Support, Product Management, and field personnel to identify training needs / issues to achieve product support training objectives. Design & develop technical training courses & supporting materials on assigned projects. Deliver with a ‘Customer First’ mindset for dealer service technicians, national/corporate account technicians, customer technicians, field personnel, and internal company personnel. Ensure training courses and materials meet department guidelines. Ensure training content inclusion into Technical Publications, including video tutorials, video explanations, written processes, and written explanations not already defined in Technical Publications available for Service Technicians Work at off-site locations 5-20% of the time to research products, consult with training customers, audit training, and develop training. Assist other product support areas (Technical Support, Training Delivery, and Technical Publications) as required. Technical Training Developer
Job Requirements
As a Technical Training Developer, you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills/experiences: At least 1 year of experience; preference of experience with at least 1 of the following areas: Technical Writing Training Development Troubleshooting mobile vehicles/equipment. Technical Training Developer
