Technical Training Program Manager, AWS Tech U
Description Become a pivotal player with AWS Tech U in driving meaningful change within our dynamic organization. In this multifaceted role, you will own the strategic direction of high-impact technical training programs, forging strong customer relationships and ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery. Leveraging your eye for quality assurance and process improvement, you will optimize program effectiveness, aligning content and communications to meet evolving customer needs. As a creative problem-solver, you will identify new growth opportunities, test innovative ideas, and use data-driven insights to continually enhance our impact. Equally important, you will provide coaching and mentorship to learners, contributing to content development that elevates our expertise. Key job responsibilities • Contribute to the program strategy, communicating results and influencing senior leadership • Drive relationship between engagement resources and customers • Manage the end-to-end delivery of engagements • Drive quality assurance and lead process improvement for the program • Content delivery and support, creating an inclusive learning environment per program requirements (Professional skills/business acumen) • Manage program communications (from delivery to Tech U and its customers) • Identify/nurture new business opportunities and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders to understand customer needs/challenges and align Tech U engagements • Identify and test new ideas on how to further improve our effectiveness • Use data and metrics to determine and drive improvements • Provide coaching and mentorship to program participants and alumni • Travel 10-20% of the time • Work closer to partners, customers and engagements (On-site) About the team About AWS Diverse Experiences AWS values diverse experiences. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of program or project management experience - 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3+ years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
