The Technical Training Specialist IT/Chem IA is part of the Customer Solutions team and is responsible for delivering approved training curriculum to North America customers for Core Lab products. The technical training will include basic operations and troubleshooting, and will be delivered either in a training center, virtually, or at the customer site. This position will support all Siemens Healthineers Core Lab portfolio, with an initial focus on virtual training for Informatics products (Atellica Data Manager).
The ideal candidate is a medical technologist with experience in adult education, technical training, or curriculum development. This role is based in the Tarrytown, NY office but candidates from New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware can be considered. Travel needs will vary based on business needs, up to 50%.

As a Technical Training Specialist, you will: Facilitate in-person and remote, basic and advanced training programs.Provide technical input and update instructor-led and computer-based training curriculum and pilot new programs as needed.Troubleshoot problems and successfully maintain instruments when working in the training laboratory. Collaborate cross-functionally to stay current and standardize training content. Work independently to interface with outside departments and effectively represents the Customer Solutions team. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase customer satisfaction and customer retention, Lead by example, demonstrate and promote the company culture and values. \Assist as needed to perform other related duties and special projects to support business needs. Travel nationally as required – up to 50% Required skills to have for the success of this role:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with people in a wide range of organizational roles and education levels are required.Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently. Excellent attention to detail, good problem solving and analytical skills. Understanding of the operations and workflow of a laboratory Experience with Laboratory Informatics Systems and/or middleware products required. Customer focused mindset Team player with a high degree of flexibility and capacity for adaptation on a changing business environmentBS/BA degree, preferred in Medical Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 2 years’ experience.Previous experience in laboratory automation and middleware instruments, PC knowledge, networking and interface protocols, or experience in a hospital setting supporting instrumentation and Laboratory Information Systems is a big plus. The pay range for this position is $92,000K-124,000K annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive target is 6% of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
