ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) intern to join our team at the Robotics and Unmanned Systems Integrators Course (RUSIC) at Fort Liberty, NC. **All work is onsite.** **Responsibilities include, but are not limited to** : + Inspect, assemble, test and fly drones + Act as a role player being targeted by drones + Research best practices + Inventory of serialized equipment + Production of cost estimates and schedules + Participation in project calls with government, industry, and academia + Local travel to support testing and meetings (Wilmington, North Carolina area) + Support testing and experimentation in a field environment, as required + Listen, observe, learn, and ask questions **Required Qualifications:** + U.S. Citizen with an active US Security Clearance or eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance + Current full-time student pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with a projected expected graduation date after August 2025 + Academic or professional experience with unmanned aircraft systems + Desire to work in a military environment + Ability to work on-site. **Desired Qualifications:** + Familiarity with unmanned aircraft systems + Military tactical knowledge or understanding **Physical Requirements:** + Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time + The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. + Must be able to walk 2 miles unassisted in uneven terrain (sand at the beach). + Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds for extended periods of time. + Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted.
