The Operations Technical Coordinator (OTC) effectively administers and manages the processes surrounding electrical, mechanical, and fire suppression systems operations and maintenance in opening hours environment with no unplanned downtime to the critical load. The OTC organizes technical maintenance sessions for these systems, coordinates the work through a change management process, manages the work in cooperation with the PMC and makes real time adjustments as required to achieve O&M objectives. The OTC drafts and/or revises operations and Account Managers and PMC about technical issues and recommends engineering solutions to solve building systems problems. The focus of OTC activities shall be to maintain 100% uptime of the facility.

Equipment Uptime and Maintenance Goals Critical Spare Parts Inventory Contractor Services Qualifications Change Mgt Work Descriptions Capital Project Planning Emergency Response Procedures (in coordination with Plant Supervisor) Updating of Engineering Drawings and Technical Records Input Contracts, invoices, and Change Orders into Teams or other agreed repository.
Reporting
Building Infrastructure and Facilities Systems Status Report Critical Spare Parts Report Maintenance Performance Report Risk Assessments (as required).
Managerial
Plan Technical Maintenance Sessions Manage Resources in coordination with AM (Capacity/Usage/Reserve) With AM, Develop Training Plans and Certify Staff Manage the Facilities Department Computer Room Resources Change Management Process Respond to emergency calls outside normal working hours (TBC).
Technical
Solve Technical Problems in Building Infrastructure and Facilities Systems Develop Systems Performance Assessments Measure Contractor Service Level Performance Provide Health and Safety Guidelines Testing and Commissioning of Equipment Assist the Team Lead in organizing Design and Construction Team meeting schedules to accommodate client requirements and project tasking Assist Team Lead in developing project specific schedules, budgets and related documentation.
Clerical
Systems Records and Reports Drawing Files (Soft and Hard Copies) Manufacturers Operations and Maintenance Manuals Domestic Technical Documents Consolidated Maintenance Reports.
QualificationsExperience
A minimum of 5 years experience in ‘mission critical’ facilities or industrial plant operations and maintenanceExtensive knowledge and expertise in central building plant architectures and an intimate knowledge of reliability engineering techniques used in contemporary data center, trading and/or communications facilitiesAbility to read electrical & mechanical drawings, wiring schemes and control diagramsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on technical and engineering documentsAbility to diagnose problems in building support systems and make recommendations for solutions in a multi-vendor environmentBroad knowledge of contemporary data processing and networking environments with detailed knowledge of at least one specific product or serviceUnderstanding of low voltage wiring techniques in respect to networking, telecommunications, signaling, and control systemsA demonstrated track record of effective problem solving capabilitiesExperience in utility management and energy conservation.Bachelor degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial EngineeringStrong PC skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ProjectModerate understanding of electronic data communications, digital processing techniques and computer hardware architecture Membership in professional engineering or facilities management organizations is desired.Location:
