Description We are offering an engaging opportunity for a Technical Writer, Learning in New York. This role is primarily concerned with utilizing technical writing skills to enhance and structure product and process documentation for our internal teams within the industry. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilize Pinterest writing guidelines, documentation best practices and our knowledge management systems to improve and organize documentation. • Conduct research to understand Pinterest products and support processes thoroughly. • Engage with internal teams to audit existing content and ascertain overall documentation requirements. • Develop documentation project plans and timelines, ensuring efficient project management. • Write and/or copyedit documentation adhering to best practices. • Consolidate and organize documentation within the knowledge management systems. • Establish collaborative, inclusive relationships with all stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project timelines. • Demonstrate technical support skills by resolving queries related to product and process documentation. • Use graphic design skills to enhance the presentation of the documentation. • Exhibit a strong understanding of API development in the context of technical writing. • Apply knowledge of business process functions to improve the documentation process. • Display a strong mindset for instructional design, enhancing the learning experience for internal teams. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in Documentation and Technical Writing. • Proficient in providing Technical Support. • Familiarity with Policy and Research activities. • Proven skills in Project Management and Audit. • Ability to effectively manage Stakeholders. • Experience in Graphic Design is a plus. • Strong Time Management skills. • Adherence to Best Practices in relevant fields. • Ability to Prioritize tasks and manage Timelines. • Understanding of Business Process Functions. • Proficient in Editing and Project Planning. • Knowledge of API Development is a plus. • Experience working with Internal Teams. • Skilled in Positioning strategies. • Familiarity with Mindset Software. • Experience with Pinterest is beneficial. • Skilled in Instructional Design. • Proven abilities in Stakeholder Management. • Experience in Knowledge Management. • Ability to distill complex information into clear and concise Distillations.
