Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Description

As a Technical Writer, you will have the unique role of refining and enhancing existing product manuals. When a product receives an upgrade or a new feature, you will be responsible for seamlessly integrating these changes into the existing manual. This role involves practical, hands-on interaction with the products, including disassembling and reassembling, to thoroughly understand their workings. Your primary aim will be to create clear, straightforward, and comprehensive operating and service manuals.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 7 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin and some days remote.

Work Environment

The workspace is diverse, ranging from small products like riding lawn mowers to larger equipment. The environment is clean and you won't get dirty, as you'll be dealing with brand new products. The office area is quiet, akin to a library, suitable for focused work on the manuals. It has a casual dress code where you can wear dress pants with a polo, or even jeans, in an open concept space.
