Kforce has a client in Grapevine, TX that is seeking a Technical Writer with expertise in IT and preferably cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have the ability to create comprehensive documentation at all levels, from user manuals to technical specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of IT concepts, and familiarity with cybersecurity practices is a significant advantage. The successful Technical Writer will be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documentation including user guides, API documentation, system requirements, and troubleshooting manuals * Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of technical content * Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation suitable for various audiences * Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT and cybersecurity to ensure documentation reflects current standards * Work closely with cross-functional teams including to gather information and review documentation * Continuously improve documentation processes and standards to enhance quality and efficiency * Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines
