Boyd’s Advanced Cooling Division, located in Fredericksburg, VA, is developing innovative thermal solutions for the enterprise and aerospace/defense industry. The team is seeking to grow our multi-disciplined engineering and technician team to tackle new challenges in the industry and is seeking a talented Technical Writer to fill a critical role within the team. General Responsibilities

The Technical Writer will be a member of a multi-discipled engineering team to provide innovative thermal solutions to the enterprise and aerospace/defense industry.

 

The role will include:

Create technical documentation including manuals, operation guides, assembly guides, and specifications based on engineering input and draft documents. Edit previous documents for clarity, consistency, and format. Adheres to, updates, and creates Boyd specific style guides. Work closely with product development teams, technicians, developers, and marketing team to complete documentation required for product launch. Data audit and entry for technical documentation including inventory control and bill of materials.
