Job Description:
Reporting to IT Project Manager, the technical writer is responsible for writing, editing and organizing technical documentation in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for a key IT project supporting Research and Development. The technical writer must be able to organize their ideas, translate technical terms into text clearly understood by the end user and train users with the developed material.
Responsibilities:
: Develop how-to and training documentation for end users
: Ensure SDLC deliverables are completed on schedule
: Manage multiple documents in coordination with the project team while working independently
Job Requirements
: 5+ years of experience in technical writing
: Functional Spec's
: Write User Guides
: Collaborative team player
: Expert at Microsoft Office 2007
: Excellent verbal communication skills
