Summary: Seeking a Technical Writer specialized in MIL-STD and ILS with experience in IADS4 compliance development of technical publications.
Job Requirements:
US Citizenship required (must be able to obtain a clearance)
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS/BE) or equivalent experience
3-7 years in technical writing experience
Experience with IADS4 compliance development of technical publications
Knowledge of XML, coding capable programs (Arbortext) to develop technical user documentation
Knowledge of DoD Support Initiatives
Understanding of military systems acquisition logistics and fielding process
Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
Preferred Skills:
Experience in technical publication development in accordance with military standards
Job Responsibilities:
Generate and modify MIL-STD and various ILS analysis and reports
Interpret mission/support scenarios into logistics support requirements
Develop ILS support and maintenance plans, including Level of Repair Analysis, supportability analysis, and maintenance demonstrations
Generate and modify training material, training slides, and instruction packages
Review and verify compliance of technical documentation
Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
