Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist
The Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist will:
- Document and record the entire review/assesment of all support and maintenance contracts associated with the infrastructure and contracted work activities.
- Record and document the recommendation for improved contract agreements based on recommended data center facilities best practices.
The Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist must provide status/progress reports at defined intervals to the Data Center Assessment team Project Manager. He/she will work with the Project Manager /Business Analyst and the Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist to produce the following deliverables:
1. Written summary of contracts supporting facility infrastructure systems (Fire suppression, uninterruptible power supply-including battery stores, onsite backup power generation, heat and cooling systems and identification of other facility assets that pose risk to operations) including services provided under contract, service gaps identified and assessment of services performed by current and former providers for the past 24 months.
2. Written summary of contacts and information sources contributing to the assessment.
3. Written recommendations/summary of facility infrastructure and contract findings with process and service improvement opportunities.
