Description We are in search of a Technical Writer to join our team in SOLON, Ohio. This role is in the industry and involves the creation and editing of various technical and procedural documents. The employment opportunity being offered is exciting and long-term. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and project managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of specific products or processes. • Write and refine technical documents, including reference manuals and product manuals. • Adjust the tone and technical terminology used in documentation to cater to the needs of the audience and ensure comprehension. • Establish writing processes and deadlines, and ensure they are adhered to. • Use CAD Software and Adobe Acrobat in the creation and editing of procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals. • Research product samples comprehensively to ensure full understanding before starting the documentation process. • Work in tandem with graphic designers to develop diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist in the understanding of a product or process. • Collect and utilize feedback from customers, designers, and manufacturers to continuously improve technical documents. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Technical Writer role or similar. • Proficient in CAD Software. • Mastery of Adobe Acrobat. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand text. • Detail-oriented with strong editing skills. • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field preferred. • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in technical writing. • Experience in a technical field, such as computer science or engineering, is a plus.
