Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer with a strong engineering background to support our manufacturing operations in Fullerton, CA. The primary responsibility will be to create comprehensive documentation that accurately summarizes manufacturing processes for a wide range of parts produced at our facility. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure technical information is effectively captured and presented in a user-friendly format.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop clear, concise, and accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technical teams to gather detailed information about processes, equipment, and workflows.
+ Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language suitable for various audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
+ Utilize technical writing tools such as Microsoft Word and Visio to produce high-quality documentation.
+ Organize and manage multiple documentation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
+ Maintain a consistent tone and style across all technical documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proven understanding of manufacturing products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
+ Exceptional writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
+ Ability to effectively simplify and communicate complex technical information.
+ Proficiency with technical writing tools and software, including Microsoft Word and Visio.
+ Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering or similar technical environments.
+ Familiarity with process improvement methodologies or Lean Manufacturing principles.
