Job Title: Technical WriterJob Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Technical Writer to work with the sensor team to develop engineering documentation, product specifications, and user manuals. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with extensive experience working in an engineering lab setting. They must have a strong desire to up-skill and self-develop, and the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.
Responsibilities
+ Develop engineering documentation, product specifications, and user manuals.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical content and create presentable documentation.
+ Transform existing documents into polished and understandable formats.
+ Publish documents on Wiki and create user guides using the Adobe Suite.
Essential Skills
+ Extensive experience writing engineering documents, product sheets, and technical documents for engineering and product management teams.
+ Experience publishing documents on Wiki and creating user guides in the Adobe Suite.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and InDesign.
+ Ability to work closely with engineering teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ BA/BS/MS/PhD in English, Journalism, or Engineering.
Work Environment
The position is onsite at our facility in North Reading. The work environment includes collaboration with engineering teams and the use of various technologies and equipment. Benefits include FTC benefits, 15 days of PTO, and 6 holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
