Description Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with expertise in the financial domain for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our end client. This role requires a skilled communicator who can break down complex scenarios into clear, concise, and accurate documentation for a variety of audiences, including technical teams, business stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting responses to regulatory and audit inquiries, updating the Central Response Library (CRL), and ensuring compliance with strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities: + Financial Domain Expertise: Create clear and concise documentation using financial terminology, including RASL terminology, to address regulatory and audit inquiries. + Documentation Creation: Develop detailed and accessible responses to complex financial and regulatory scenarios, including supporting graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and infographics. + Regulatory and Audit Compliance: Interpret and explain regulatory policies in clear, structured responses, ensuring alignment with regulations and audit standards. + Library Maintenance: Update and maintain the Central Response Library (CRL), ensuring documents are accurate, consistent, and version-controlled. + Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and regulators to ensure documentation aligns with expectations and requirements. + Document Review & Editing: Review and edit documents for accuracy, grammar, consistency, and formatting to maintain high-quality standards. + Prioritize & Manage Deadlines: Manage multiple documentation tasks, prioritize deliverables, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Stakeholder Communication: Incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. + Gap Identification: Proactively identify knowledge gaps, ask the right questions, and gather necessary information to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation.
