Job Title: Technical WriterJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to conduct root cause investigations for manufacturing deviations and non-conformances. The ideal candidate will help drive preventative and corrective actions to support continuous improvement efforts. You will utilize SAP and Trackwise to support investigations, generate reports, and present findings to the Irvine Material Review Board. Responsibilities + Conduct root cause investigations in a timely manner for manufacturing deviations and non-conformances. + Drive preventative and corrective actions in support of continuous improvement efforts based on investigative findings. + Utilize SAP and Trackwise to support investigations. + Write and generate detailed reports. + Present findings to the Irvine Material Review Board for major and critical categories. Essential Skills + Technical writing + Investigations + Non-conformances + Root cause analysis + Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) + Report writing Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries, with medical device experience as a secondary preference. + Audit and Six Sigma training/certification + Experience with Trackwise + Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) + Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Work Environment This role is based in a pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing company with over 2000 employees in Irvine. This first-shift opportunity involves working on the production floor and in office. You will always be engaged with novel situations, new challenges, and projects, with the potential for the assignment to last up to a year and beyond, possibly converting to a full-time position. The department currently has two contractors performing similar work. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
