We are seeking a highly motivated **Technical Writer/Editor** to join our dynamic team. You will take on a leadership role and be responsible for updating, developing and producing technical documents to include interactive/online technical documentation using browser-based languages training products. Individual may train and be assisted by lower level technical writers. This position is contingent upon award news Spring of 2025. Key Responsibilities: + Develop and update operational procedures, detailed descriptions of navigation hardware and software components, and an interactive online help feature. + Maintain technical files in a knowledge-based repository. + Develop and manage content for IETMs, including online help features as required/needed. Content encompasses documentation and procedures outlining the system level operations and maintenance. + Collaborate with and/or train technical writers and subject matter experts to create technical documentation, including manuals, user guides, and maintenance instructions. What You Can Expect: + A culture of innovation, where your ideas and contributions are valued and make an impact. + Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology and field-testing opportunities. + A supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development. + Competitive salary and benefits package. **Qualifications** Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree and Ten (10)+ years of experience developing and producing interactive/online technical documentation for Navigation systems. + Four (4) years demonstrated experience supervising content development and integration efforts. + Four (4) years demonstrated experience using XML authoring tool sets. + Experience using browser-based languages including Extensible Markup Language (XML), Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets. + Demonstrated ability to interpret operational/maintenance manuals and operational procedures for Navigation systems. + Direct experience with development of Navigation systems technical documentation products. + Demonstrated communication, planning, and organizational skills. + Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
