Location: Lake Mary, FloridaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $50 - 58 per hour We are seeking a Creative Technical writer to work closely with SMEs, process owners, and end users to create and maintain documentation, job aids, SOPs, process guides, and training materials. You will craft original content, extract relevant information from existing materials, and ensure documentation aligns with updated processes. Additionally, you will manage templates, create user stories in Jira, and support the semiannual attestation of all documented processes. Responsibilities: This technical writer assists the documentation of the end-to-end Customer journey blueprints in the organization. Work directly with SMEs, process owners, and end users to craft documentation, job aids, SOPs, process guides, and training guides. Take materials developed by others and extract relevant content for the user community. Craft original materials as processes are updated and refined. Develop and maintain approved templates for the documentation. Create user stories and support the team in developing user stories in Jira for the COP backlog. Support the semiannual attestation of all documented processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Business, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in technical writing, process documentation, or creating user guides in a professional environment. Experience with Jira or other project management tools. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to handle multiple documentation tasks simultaneously. Ability to distill complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly materials.
