Your Mission:Drive documentation excellence by developing, reviewing, and maintaining technical materials that support software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation that aligns with business and technical requirements.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:Experienced in writing and editing technical documentation for software, hardware, and system processesSkilled in gathering technical information from multiple sources and translating complex concepts into clear, user-friendly materialsProficient in technical manual standardsComfortable working across all phases of documentation, from research to publicationDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing internal documentation librariesAdept at coordinating document layout, design, and compliance with style guidesAble to brief senior-level management on project documentation statusA Day in the Life Of:Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documentation, including installation, configuration, and operational proceduresWork with developers, engineers, and subject matter experts to document new and existing business processesEnsure compliance with customer and company documentation standardsResearch technical subject matter and consolidate information into well-structured documentsUse tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio to create professional documentationDevelop user manuals, training guides, and acquisition documents for government programsProvide expert-level oversight of documentation processes, ensuring consistency and accuracyAct as a project leader for large or complex documentation effortsMust Haves:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearanceEight (8) years of experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of experience)Ability to write technical copy for various types of documents, including user guides, manuals, and reportsExperience coordinating document design, layout, and compliance with technical standardsNice to Have:Experience documenting analytic tradecraft methodologiesFamiliarity with electronic systems and cryptologic programsAbility to interpret engineering and maintenance drawings for technical documentationStrong briefing skills for presenting documentation to senior leadershipAbout us: We are an experienced advanced analytic development company providing Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
