One of our clients in Glendale, Los Angeles is looking for a Data Technical Writer with the following skills and experience:

Must haves:

Experience doing technical writing for a data team and someone who has closely worked with data engineers data product teams and SRE'sMust be able to build and write materialsWork closely with developers and businessResponsible for diagrams in Lucid Charts and VisioConfluent supportWill be writing procedures

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of technical writing experience, with a proven ability to learn andcommunicate complex subject matter effectively.Strong written communication skills and an excellent eye for detail.Experience collaborating with engineering teams to enhance user experience throughcontent and visual aids.Proficiency in content management systems, XML, or other documentation tools, as wellas experience managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks.Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experiencecreating technical documentation for different audience levels, from end-users to systemAbility to tailor documentation based on the audience

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in data, software development, or a related technical field.Professional certification, such as from the Society for Technical Communication.Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Intercom, Confluence, JIRA, Git & GitHub, Wiki,CMS or similar tools.Experience in creating client aids, such as online demos, video guides, and interactiveAbility to work independently, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced
