Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

Compile valuable Subject Matter Expert (SME) topics and documentation by working with team membersCreate clear and concise documentation for both the Analytics team and business usersEdit and proofread documentation for accuracy and clarityDevelop FAQs and reference pages for business users to accessEnsure documentation and applications comply with Navitus style guides and standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on documentation projectsRecognize, suggest, and assist with process improvementsDisplay critical thinking and problem-solving competenciesAssist with special projectsAssist with administrative tasks as neededOther duties as assigned Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field. Minor or emphasis in computer science or related technical field would be desiredStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to comprehend and explain complex technical information clearlyStrong organizational and time management skillsResourceful and independently motivatedBasic understanding of graphic design principles for document visualsExperience with Confluence or similar web-based wiki is desiredHigh school degree or equivalent requiredMust be enrolled in an accredited 2 or 4 year college for the upcoming school yearMust have at least 1 year of coursework completedMust be 18 years or olderExperience working in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferredThe intern role is considered a learning opportunity and as such, no specific experience is required. Preference may be given to candidates with work experience or education paths determined desirable by the department each intern supportsParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectivesThe ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
