**Technician,** **Analytical Sciences** **Kaiseraugst, Switzerland** **Company Facility, On-site** As our successful Technician, you will join the Analytical Sciences department in Kaiseraugst, part of our Science & Research division. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **Your key responsibilities:** + Rigorously execute qualitative and quantitative analysis of small molecules mainly for Beauty and Care innovation projects. + Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods based on instructions from the Scientist in charge. + Deliver high-quality and reliable analytical results in a fast-evolving research environment. + Manage samples storage and maintain clean and well-organized laboratory/workplace, including maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments. + Maintain appropriate documentation, write SOPs and contribute to scientific reports. + Actively contribute to the global safety, health and environment protection in the team and beyond. **We bring:** + Being part of an interdisciplinary team of industry-leading scientists with state-of-the-art equipped analytical facility + A diversity exciting projects related to health, beauty and care. + A supportive environment where individuals are empowered to progress and contribute to meaningful change. + The possibility to further develop technical knowledge on different analytical domains depending on skills and interests of successful candidate. + Being part of a company with a strong legacy of breakthrough industrial innovations and technology **You bring:** + Apprenticeship (EFZ or CFC) as analytical laboratory technician or a Bachelor degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience + Hands-on experience in quantitative analysis of ingredients in cosmetic formulations and applications or equivalent, using LC and GC techniques with different detectors including mass spectrometry. + Solid practical and theoretical background in the development and validation of analytical methods especially with HPLC-UV and HPLC-MS/MS + Knowledge of Chromeleon software and Electronic Lab Notebook together with interest in laboratory optimization and automation are assets. + Highly motivated, solution oriented, well-organized and collaborative personality . + Fluent in English, good knowledge of German language would be an advantage. **Equal opportunities commitment** dsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
