Responsibilities include Assisting Jerome Village maintenance team in day to day tasks to keep gravity and AirVac sewer systems operational. This includes but not limited to sewer inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Other responsibilities include customer service of the homeowners and some light commercial maintenance.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance service and repairs in a specialized technical and skilled trade for the organization's facilities. Ensures maximum efficient operations of facilities and equipment, as well as the care of all support equipment. Ensures that all systems including utility infrastructure are fully operational and inspected in accordance with accepted standards and practices, including preventive maintenance schedules. Remains familiar with and aligns with all Federal, States and local safety and environmental laws and regulations.
LANDSCAPE/DAY SERVICE TECHNICIAN: Assists in the coordination and performance of landscape maintenance duties; Assists in maintenance of mechanical equipment and irrigation systems as advised by a supervisor; Assists with coordinating and performing snow removal.
STRUCTURAL: Serves as part of a team responsible for carpentry, masonry, and painting functions as related to facility maintenance.
ELECTRICAL: Serves as part of a team responsible for the layout, assembly installation, testing, repair and adjustment of electrical distribution and wire communications systems as well as electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment and wiring such as motors, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers and transformers.
HVAC & HVAC OPERATIONS: Serves as part of a team responsible for HVAC maintenance. Assists with customer service requests including but not limited to: hot calls, cold calls, odor complaints. Assists with testing and inspection of water and life safety systems (sprinklers, fire pumps, emergency generators, etc.). Administers chemical treatment programs; assists with maintenance, fire systems and emergency calls.
PLUMBING: Will be part of a team responsible for plumbing, refrigeration and mechanical systems as they relate to facility maintenance.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Supervisor/Manager
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least two years of related work experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: General knowledge of HVAC mechanical and life safety systems. General knowledge of all codes, principles and techniques associated with installation, maintenance, repair and operation of HVAC mechanical systems and devices. Knowledgeable in mechanical test equipment. May have experience and skills in carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical maintenance, plumbing, HVAC maintenance and operations. . Skills/Competencies: Must have ability to install, maintain repair and operate moderately complex HVAC, plumbing, or electrical system and devices. Must have the ability to troubleshoot and test moderately complex HVAC mechanical systems and components. Must have the ability to interpret blue prints and electrical schematics.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

Working Conditions: Building maintenance environment. Overtime and non standard work hours as needed. May be required to work non-standard and/or rotating shifts. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. Requires the ability to lift and carry objects weighing over 50 ponds, and to push/move up to 100 pounds. Ability to lift, carry, walk, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, work from heights. Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and solutions.
