The **Field Technician** is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment in their geographic area of responsibility. The role is a generalist position, intended to be qualified to perform most of the maintenance, electrical, measurement, and repair tasks.

**Responsibilities may include:**
+ Works autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions, at remote field locations and is available for callout.
+ Participates and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings.
+ Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards.
+ Accurately completes documentation such as timesheets, SAP work orders, safe job plans work permits and regulatory reports.
+ Performs and accurately documents regulatory required inspections.
+ Oversees contractors, providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control).
+ Conducts routine inspection and repair of calibration and repair of meter and associated equipment.
+ Maintains, repairs, and routinely inspects communications equipment, and sampling system.
+ Responsible for conducting the product composition, quality sampling and testing process according to company standard.
+ Reads and comprehends technical procedures, and / or governmental regulations.
+ Writes technical reports and effectively present information to groups of managers and general plant personnel.
+ Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Legally authorized to work in job posting country
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
+ Must maintain a valid driver’s License
+ 3 or more years of experience in oil and gas operations
+ Willing and able perform/comply, with or without a reasonable accommodation, with the following:
+ Frequently exerts push/pulling force of up to 130 pounds
+ Frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
+ Regularly stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 30 minutes
+ Occasionally may climb various type of ladders up to range of 5 to 50 feet in height
+ Operate in both indoor and outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity
+ Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the gas plant
+ Frequently works independently as well as part of a team
+ Works extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
+ Works safely around various types of rotating equipment
+ Wear fire-retardant clothing and other personal protective equipment, such as steel-toe boots and ear and eye protection
**Midstream**
Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
