Your Opportunity as the Technician-Frozen Handheld and Spreads Research & Development
You will support all Frozen Handheld & Spreads R&D teams with iterative product prototyping, managing lab and Pilot Plant spaces, supporting our Quality and Safety Program, and performing various administrative duties. You will have daily interactions with team members, and you must have the ability to execute a broad range of technical tasks and adapt to changing priorities. In this role you will support process and product development teams and spaces.
Location: Lexington, KY – Research & Development Team
In this role you will:
Be part of the R&D Team and help execute projects within the pilot plant and lab spacesScale ingredients and batch formulas in lab and pilot plant spacesPerform analytical testing for lab and pilot plant batchesBe an Area Owner for R&D spaces by being the single point of contact for any issues or concerns Cleaning, stocking, organizing, and managing maintenance Use various systems of information for completing work: inventory management system, Electronic Lab Notebook interface, SharePoint, and othersWork with Quality and Safety Program owners to manage the application of R&D’s programs in the lab and Pilot Plant spaces Perform established procedures and pilot plant work as directed with minimal supervision and identify ways to improve methods Perform sanitation in lab and pilot plant spaces Perform basic maintenancePerform various administrative activities such as shipping and receiving packagesThe Right Place for You
