Technician, Measurement Automation (Midland, TX) Sign-on Bonus

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. This position includes a$10,000 Sign-on Bonus, as well as other “location” incentives.

The Measurement Automation Technician is responsible for working with Engineering and Pipeline Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Install measurement, communication and SCADA equipment.Program, configure, and commission a variety of Liquid and Gas Flow computers, RTU's and controls equipment.Daily use of computer laptop, applications software for various types of equipment.Install Gas, Liquid, and NGL measurement equipment.Repair and replace communication equipment.Diagnose and repair Analytical Equipment. Coordinate with Engineering on installation, work with Pipeline Operations, and coordinate with Liquids and Gas Control Centers.

Vocational-Technical certificate or an associate’s degree in electronics or related field experience is preferred.Experience in basic computer use including the use of word processing, spreadsheets, and email software as well as experience with configuring various Liquid and Gas measurement software applications is required.Experience with and knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of various types of Measurement, Communications and SCADA equipment is preferred.A valid driver's license is required.Must be willing and able to perform essential functions of this position in an outdoor environment under variables such as inclement weather conditionsincluding extreme heat, cold, wind and precipitation, variable heights, and unstable terrain.Must be ableto understand the operation of and repair of various applicable mechanical and technical equipment or systems.Great team player who interacts effectively with co-workers, customers and the public, whether in a group or in independent cooperative activities.Must be accountable and self-driven to learn, and to continuously develop and improve skills through both formalized and on-the-job training.Must be able to travel on a daily basis to various locations. Will require occasional overnight travel.
