Technician, PDW: 3rd shift, Mon-Thurs, 9:00pm-7:30am

The Technician: Packaging, Distribution, and Warehouse will ensure the operation of packaging, distribution, and warehousing activities, while maintaining compliance, inventory control, and efficient order fulfillment processes. This role involves operating and troubleshooting equipment, documenting work, providing direction on maintenance and training, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory management. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Responsible for ensuring proper functioning and troubleshooting any equipment issues that may arise during the process. + Accurately documents all packaging, distribution, and warehousing activities, including packaging records, shipment details, and inventory transactions. This documentation will help in maintaining accurate records and ensure GMP compliance with regulatory requirements. + Creates and updates standard operating procedures, conducts investigations, writes deviation reports, and completes assigned training to include general company procedures, area procedures, equipment operation, computer operation, safety, GMP, BPE, and other as needed. + Provides guidance and direction to other team members involved in packaging, distribution, and warehouse activities. + Complies with regulatory standards and internal policies related to packaging, distribution, and warehousing. + Actively participates in conducting cycle counting, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining accurate process records. + Looks up and performs transactions within the electronic inventory management system (ERP system). + Responsible for basic operation of department equipment and ensures all equipment, instruments and production materials are released and available for use. + Oversees production processes, cleaning, and in-process batch quality checks per written procedures. + Ensure department areas are cleaned/maintained and submits work orders as needed. + Ability to navigate and effectively use company documentation systems. + Assists in monitoring operating inventory supplies and order replenishments as needed. + Supports the Engineering group during projects/new technology transfer and assist with training of personnel. + Generates or collects new ideas about workplace and processes. + Facilitates or actively supports projects that optimize efficiency, enhance compliance, and/or reduce costs. + Works within the any computer programs such as MES. **Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering or relevant discipline. OR + Associate Degree in a related scientific discipline/relevant trade school and two (2) years of production, operations, or related experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, bio-production, manufacturing, or similar environment. OR + High school diploma/GED and a minimum of three (3) years of production, operations, or related experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, bio-production, manufacturing, or similar environment. + Basic computer skills with Word, Excel and Electronic Management Systems, Packaging and Labeling equipment knowledge and/or experience (i.e.: labeler, case packing, line clearance, changeover, label components, printing devices), understanding of PDW terminology. + Basic knowledge of manufacturing function, acquaintance with and general understanding of aspects of the Packaging and Labeling process and ability to apply this knowledge to situations ordinarily encountered necessary. + Demonstrated leadership abilities. + Ability to read, interpret and conform to batch records, Quality and Safety requirements. + Ability to operate applicable ERP system. + Knows and follows safety rules, wears appropriate safety equipment, and always maintains proper safety practices. **Eligibility Requirements** : + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). + Must be 18 years of age or older. **Desired Skills, Experience and Abilities** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to a person’s actual or perceived race, including natural hairstyles, hair texture and protective hairstyles; color; creed; religion; national origin; age; ancestry; citizenship status, marital status; gender, gender identity or expression; sexual orientation, mental, physical or intellectual disability, veteran status; pregnancy, childbirth or related medical condition; genetic information (including the refusal to submit to genetic testing) or any other class or characteristic protected by applicable law.
