Job Description

Technicians at Nordstrom support customers across multiple channels, with a focus on providing excellent customer experience to Nordstrom Employees. Technicians at Nordstrom have a wide range of responsibilities ranging from in store support, Service Desk support and backend monitoring of systems and applications, just to name a few.

This position requires that the candidate work onsite at our Distribution Center in Portland, OR. The scheduled shift will be Tuesday-Friday 5am-3pm.

Understands and displays basic troubleshooting concepts and processes and operating system fundamentalsProtects our Brand and competitive advantage by ensuring that customer /other protected data and intellectual property is protected and never exposed to external breach or unauthorized accessUnderstands importance of adhering to security standards and the potential impacts to the Nordstrom brand due to security breachCommunicates, to the appropriate audiences, clearly and concisely, in written and oral formats about decisions, plans, and tasks in a timely mannerIdentifies why a problem is occurring, analyze the appropriate data and create an effective plan for resolution.Demonstrates the understanding of target SLA's for specific area. · Adheres to scheduled work times
