Job Description
We are seeking skilled service technicians to join our team and service automated beverage machines in the Austin, TX and surrounding area. As a technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and quality assurance of these machines, which are typically installed in commercial settings such as restaurants.
ResponsibilitiesDrive around the local area to service and repair automated beverage machines.Clean, diagnose, and repair equipment, including working with the machine's software, replacing worn-out components, and testing refurbished equipment.Diagnose defective parts and swap them out in the field, without fixing the defective part on-site.Conduct QA inspections and keep detailed records of all refurbishment processes, including parts replaced, tests conducted, and any issues identified.Coordinate with the procurement team to order spare parts and components, mail defective parts back to headquarters, and receive new parts.Work on projects lasting 3 weeks to 2 months, with potential breaks of 1-2 weeks between projects. Over time, as the business grows, breaks will become less frequent.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude, including experience with hand tools, pumps, regulators, small motors, and flowmeters.Electrical aptitude, including experience with multimeters, troubleshooting, and wiring.Basic plumbing knowledge, such as adding angle stops to tees.Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Inventory control and organization skills.Strong customer interaction and customer service skills, with the ability to teach customers about the machines.Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.Willingness to travel, potentially up to 60%, though this is highly unlikely.Reliable transportation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in equipment maintenance, remanufacturing, or service technician roles.Experience working on beverage machines or fluidics machines.Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and previous corrective/preventative maintenance experience.Understanding of Linux software.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Technicians will work remotely, reporting from home to client sites in the Austin area and being on call to service machines at local client sites/restaurants around ATX. You will drive your own vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed) and handle ordering and sending parts to and from your home. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm/6:00 pm, depending on customer orders, with potential for occasional evenings and weekends. Travel may be required up to 60%, though this is unlikely and would only be in the local area. The only travel is your first week they would ask that you be available to travel to training in either California or Florida
