Job Description
The Technician 2 cleans equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and makes the needed repairs on equipment within the area of responsibility in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid downtime. This role involves diagnosing and performing maintenance on floor scrubbers, focusing on both battery and propane-powered machines, including hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical components.
ResponsibilitiesPerform check-ins when equipment is returned to the shopAssist with the loading and unloading of equipment as neededClean, pressure wash, and prep equipment for repairs, ensuring rent-ready statusPerform full-service maintenance on all equipment, diagnose, and repair most mechanical problemsMaintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety standardsKeep track of rental equipment (inventory) and coordinate deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls with customersMaintain the warehouse areaClean, repair, order, and install necessary parts to ensure standards are metSource and manage the inventory of parts and suppliesComplete and maintain equipment service records including damage repair, preventive maintenance, and warranty processingEnsure decals are replaced and equipment is cleaned and detailedOperate company vehicle safely, maintain a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
