Job Description
As a Technician, you will perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas. Your responsibilities will include constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems. You will work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. You will operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in a prescribed format. Additionally, you will perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed, and prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot M270A1 and HIMARS Launchers.Test ATACMS, GMLRS, HELLFIRE, and Javelin missiles.Write final reports and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed format.Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.Essential SkillsFamiliar with gasoline and diesel engines.Troubleshooting skills on vehicles.Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.Experience in troubleshooting, electromechanics, calibration, and test procedures.Mechanical maintenance skills.Knowledge in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical areas.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience working on Military Bradley vehicles, HIMARS, MLRS, HUMVEE, and HEMIT.Experience as a diesel mechanic working on bulldozers and/or large diesel engines.Preferred experience working on gasoline and/or diesel engines.Forklift Physical.Government climatic physical.DOT physical.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work on-site at the Redstone Arsenal STORM Project Office. The role involves hands-on work with advanced military equipment and requires physical activities such as calibration, adjustments, and maintenance. You will need to complete physicals, including a Forklift Physical, Government climatic physical, and DOT physical. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a high level of attention to detail and precision.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.39 - $26.39
