Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Shift: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM (No weekends)

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Job Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team! If you have experience with mechanical maintenance, welding, and preventative maintenance, we want to hear from you. You’ll be working hands-on with equipment, tools, and systems to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance throughout the facility.Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment (e.g., grinders, saws, drill press, hydraulic pullers).Work with electrical, welding, pipefitting, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals to modify or build equipment.Document maintenance tasks and collaborate with the team to improve operations.Operate forklifts, loaders, and lifts as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance.Welding experience required.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.

Preferred:

AA in Industrial Maintenance or related field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
