Job Title: Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team, focusing on both commercial and residential projects. In this role, you will be responsible for placing layout points in the field, allowing the concrete team to execute their work accurately. You will also map out where the form crew will perform their tasks ahead of time, ensuring seamless coordination and execution. Responsibilities - Perform layout for structural and foundation operations using Robotic Total Station equipment. - Verify measurements, elevations, and ensure accurate placement of project elements. - Identify and communicate discrepancies with excavations and elevations before layout. - Conduct preconstruction tasks for new builds, including CAD file preparation, file verification, and ensuring proper plans are on site. - Communicate hands-on field operations effectively to crew members and supervisors. - Assist crews with various aspects of the construction process as needed. - Maintain and secure all equipment, ensuring it's in good working condition. - Serve as a backup to other layout specialists when necessary. Essential Skills - Proficiency in CAD software. - Experience with Trimble Total Station equipment. - Strong survey and layout design skills. - Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks. -Experience in commercial construction. Additional Skills & Qualifications - Extensive experience in construction layout. - Ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
