**IS Technician SPEC SVCS I** **Location:** Clute, TX **Pay:** $23.00-$28.00/hour (DOE) Our client is seeking a **Technician** to join their team in **Clute, TX** . This role offers the opportunity to work with a safety-conscious team in a dynamic industrial setting, operating mechanical and manual equipment for industrial services, waste management, and tank cleaning. **Responsibilities:** + Assist in operating industrial waste treatment equipment and power tools, adhering to company and facility guidelines. + Perform equipment checks at the start of each shift, assist in the connection and disconnection of hoses, and assist in the operation of various equipment. + Clean, install, repair, and maintain valves, pumps, hoses, gaskets, and other related equipment. + Maintain a clean work area and ensure safe work practices are followed. + Inspect equipment, hoses, and work areas before starting jobs, identifying potential hazards to ensure safety. + Report any deficiencies, accidents, or near misses to supervisors immediately. + Always wear personal protective equipment as per safety regulations and client requirements. + Collaborate with supervisors and follow instructions; work under supervision, never operating alone. **Qualifications:** + **Experience:** 1+ year of related experience is preferred. + **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a plant environment. Must be able to work nights and weekends due to 24/7 operations. + **Certification:** Must possess a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). + **Skills & Abilities:** Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and a focus on safety. + **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required. + **Other Requirements:** Must have access to a telephone, be capable of following safety regulations, and comply with physical job requirements. **Work Environment:** + Plant environment with ongoing training, including safety courses and OSHA compliance.
