Responsibilities You will apply standardized, analytical, and evaluative methods and techniques sufficient to advise on difficult but well-precedented, factual, procedural, and/or recurring issues and complete moderately difficult and complex survey work. You will make informed decisions on problems and issues, perform installation, maintenance, operation, and testing duties. You will communicate with customers, technical leaders, and managers to help plan, execute, monitor, and test and evaluate highly complex and technical electrical/electronic systems. You will develop or provide technical input to plans and solutions for equipment installation, integration or interoperability, systems corrective and preventive maintenance, risk management and mitigation, work estimates, and work schedules. You will develop reports or provide input to and review technical documents. You will oversee one or more In-Service Engineering Activity functions ensuring integration of services and day-to-day technical operation. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to facilitate a diverse group of technically skilled team members, expertise in one or more naval radio communications systems, providing assistance resolving major technical issues, and providing life cycle support functions to include corrective and preventive maintenance. . Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
