Job Description
The technician will be responsible for working in the field, assisting the owner and their team with various tasks related to environmental and construction projects.
ResponsibilitiesConduct regular site visits to assess project needs, prepare tools and equipment, and ensure readiness for tasks.Collect soil, water, and other environmental samples for laboratory testing, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.Operate and maintain field equipment such as drills, pumps, and sampling devices. Perform routine checks and calibrations to ensure accuracy.Accurately record field data, observations, and measurements. Maintain detailed logs and reports for project documentation.Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Coordinate with team members and supervisors to report progress, issues, and findings. Provide updates on project status and any challenges encountered.Prepare job sites by setting up necessary equipment and materials. Clean up sites after work is completed, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.Identify and resolve issues with equipment or processes in the field. The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
