Job Description
The Technician Assistant is responsible for supporting the duties of the Pharmacy Technicians and Staff Pharmacists. This may include duties in the Fulfillment, Shipping, and order preparation areas.
ResponsibilitiesGather several components of an order and assemble them together.Perform basic computer and scanning functions.Restock stations and storage areas with needed supplies.Assemble kits of prescription support items.Ship orders when needed.Assist with Inventory management, adjusting final inventory, and participating in cycle count.Deliver needed items to various departments within the facility.Keep the Fulfillment and Shipping areas clean and organized, and remove garbage/recycling from work areas, as needed.Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, etc.) for long periods of time when required.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsData entryLabellingInventory managementShipping/data entryPharmacy knowledgeOrder entryAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalent.Consistent and reliable attendance.Basic computer skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to successfully prioritize and complete time-sensitive duties.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Work Environment
Closed door pharmacy with custom compounding. The work environment requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, etc.) for long periods of time when required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
