Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth 1304 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104

Work hours: Full Time Days, 5:30am - 6:00pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

20 bed Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit, Nurse: Patient ratio 1:2 Level I Trauma Center MAGNET facility Trauma Surgical, Renal Transplant, MSOF patients, CRRT, Vent-patients and all forms of life support RN average length of service 9 ½ years The department prides itself in high performing staff with excellent critical thinking skills Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team High acuity, high volume department 

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req And
Other successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis within 90 days of hire Req

Experience
6 Months in dialysis, phlebotomy or CNA Req

Licenses and Certifications
CCHT - Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician 18 Months Req And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 Days Req

Skills
Basic computer competency to include knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel; Excellent verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills; Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English instructions, safety rules and guidelines.
