Job Summary :
The Electrical Technician is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. This role ensures that all electrical components operate efficiently and safely, while also maintaining compliance with safety and food hygiene standards. The technician will work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations within the facility.
Key Responsibility :Electrical Maintenance & Repair:
Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Identify and replace faulty electrical components, such as sensors, PLCs, switches, circuit breakers, and relays.
Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and address them proactively.
Maintain electrical wiring, conduits, and fixtures to ensure optimal functionality.
Support in troubleshooting and minor repairs under the guidance of senior technicians.
Preventive Maintenance:
Assist in performing preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, audits, and maintenance tasks.
Report and document equipment downtime incidents promptly.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling electrical and mechanical components to prevent accidents or injuries.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during maintenance activities.
Submit monthly SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) scores.
Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of workplace safety.
Communication & Documentation:
Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report maintenance findings and request assistance when needed.
Actively respond and update maintenance activities in WhatsApp groups and Redzone applications.
Highlight to the supervisor or engineer when spare parts are unavailable by filling out an online request form.
Workplace Organization & Housekeeping:
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S principles.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Qualifications & Requirements:Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a similar role.
Knowledge of PLCs, circuit breakers, relays, and electrical components.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to urgent maintenance needs
